I found your blog, because I was looking for applesauce muffins to make with my applesauce! I want to make my own finger foods for my baby girl, she's only 8 months old right now, but I can't wait to try this recipe! :)

Well, I pan on baking these tomorrow. We should compare notes!
Charlie is 17 months on the 4th of March and he loves applesauce. We'll see if he'll like these :)
If he's fussy all I have to do is add apple sauce and voila, problem solved!

Hi! I'm visiting from MBC. Great blog.

I'm not so sure on the measurements...4 oz equal 1/2 cup but this says 1 cup..
I'll have to contact Christine to clarify

Thank you for your message.

I realize that the conversions may look confusing, but there is a reason :)

If you measure out a cup of flour and then weigh it, it weighs 4 ounces
(because flour is not very dense). If you measure a cup of a denser
ingredient (like applesauce) it will weigh more. So the conversion amounts
will appear to be different , depending on the ingredient.

I hope this helps.

With warm wishes
