Recall on Childrens Tylenol and Motrin

Saturday, May 1, 2010

Just goes to show you can't really trust anything when it comes to baby and Tylenol has been recalled because of an "excessive" amount of the main medicinal ingredient in the medications formula.
Thankfully I don't use this as I am favorible to homeopathic remedies when it comes to my ailing baby and it works for him.
Here are some links to read about on the latest recall.
Tyelnol, Tylenol Infant, ABC News , Now Public(the links on this site works now)

Good morning Mama Ash, what would you recommend as a homeopathic rememdy for babies headache or fever - for an 18 month old and a 3 yrd old?

Do babies get head aches?!
Depending on the issue of aches I use Arnica gel for general aches and pains. For fever I put a cold cloth on the hump of the back of neck. Right were cervical and thoracic meet.
For fever you need to see a homeopath as I am not one but here's some more info:
Many homeopathic fever remedies are available. Aconite, Belladonna, and Ferrum phosphoricum can alter the course of earaches, sore throats, and other feverish infections. Aconite calms sudden high fevers, especially when associated with anxiety or exposure to cold wind. Belladonna also allays sudden intense fevers, but the cheeks are rosy, the pupils dilated, and the skin hot and dry. The head feels congested and may throb. Ferrum phosphoricum soothes fevers that are neither intense nor characteristic.
You could try a health store.
When in doubt, try Advil for infants.
