This recipe is from the section 9-12months, Chunkier Meals
Ingredients:
2 apples, peeled cored and chopped into cubes1 large turnip or medium rutabaga peeled and chopped into cubes
1 parsnip, peeled and chopped into small cubes
1 carrot, peeled and chopped into small cubes
1 clove of garlic
2tbsp of raisins
1 1/2 cups of water
1.Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan
2. Simmer for 30-40 minutes or until tender, adding extra water if necessary. Puree to desired consistency, makes about 2 1/2 cups.
Nutritional Information: A good source of Vitamin C, fibre, calcium, potassium and iron.
