Manduca Baby Carriers-Carrying Comfort from the Start

From Germany with love.
I bring you Manduca a beautiful baby carrier. From the moment I pulled it out of the box I knew I had German craftsmanship in my hands and what a clever carrier this is.
It is designed in Germany and manufactured in China but to high levels and rigourous testing I am confident in the quality of such a line. It's German, so I know they have high standards and I received the trust after talking to them about it.

First of all it should fit parents of all different sizes and heights.  The hip belt can be extended out 140cm(55inches) which is quite generous.

Now what is so clever about this carrier? Here are it's functions.
  • Can we worn front facing(chest to chest), back and hip carry
  • from 7.7 pounds to 44 pounds
  • It has an integrated head rest fold-able in the hidden pocket which is located in front of the carrier just where baby rests its head.  No need to worry about losing the hoody!
  • has a super padded hip belt that feels good and secure around the waist/hip, important for back carry.  It has fantastic support.
  • Integrated seat reducing insert for newborns, it's attached to carrier and you just fold it when it is out grown, no need to remove from the carrier only to lose it later.
  • Can be worn from infant to toddler: It has a zipper fold out integrated for back extension
M position is Manduca's mandate for which stands for the M position that corresponds to a baby's natural position and helps their hips to mature as nature intended.  The baby's knees are pulled up often as high as the belly button therefore making a capitol M and this is the orthopaedic, ideal way of babywearing, thus the M position was born and here you have Manduca.   Whether front or back your Manduca baby is always in the correct position.
Here's a video to show you the features & of the hoody and zipper extention:

My experience in Manduca

I took my son out for a "test drive" in this today with him in the back carry position.  We walked  about 3km and he fell asleep within half hour of being in his Manduca.
He fell asleep 2 hours earlier than his nap time.  He loves being a carrier and I got to use every aspect of my Manduca today.  When he fell asleep I pulled the hoody up and secured the hoody to the hooks on the carrier to keep his head from bobbling around. He slept for a good hour on my back and it was beautiful.  If you have sleep issues with your baby I highly suggest you try babywearing. There's nothing more comforting for your child and you and there are articles on the benefits of babywearing/toddlerwearing that support this.

The organic cotton of this carrier is super soft, the straps aren't too wide so they don't have that feeling of "they might slip off".  Because I had my son in  a back carry position my posture was still straight and not once did I "hunch" over as I have experienced with some other carriers.
I got a lot of attention as people stopped me on the street and asked what kind of baby carrier that is and admirers commenting on how sweet it is and remarkable how my son is asleep in the carrier.
