Well, mine hasn't started but I can already tell you how handy this lunch bag has been for us. It fits my Wean Green cubes perfectly, the food storage container keeps his food warm and fresh and well, he loves to tote it around and when he does, he looks like such a little man. I love this giveaway - my little guy is at daycare (he calls it 'SCOOOL!' three days a week, and the first time I left him, I think I cried longer than he did! Now, we both look forward to it - he has made friends there and looks forward to playing with them, and is learning so much - it's amazing to hear him coming out with new words and phrases that he didn't learn at home! And I look forward to spending time alone with my newborn, and giving him some undivided attention he does'nt get when big brother is home!

So my Lili just started kindergarten on Aug.31, prior to that she was in daycare (she is also my oldest of 3 and my only girl)
For her first day of school, daddy took the day off to bring her as well, so the 5 of us went together... Let me tell you, that morning was by far the hardest day for me ever that I can remember. Walking with her, I was holding her hand so tight that she complained, and I walked silently taking big breaths trying to fight back the tears. I felt I had to for her, I didn't want her to see me so sad when she was soooo excited to go to the big school. Once she was in the school yard, she walked away with a HUGE smile and waved bye to us... I almost lost it.
It was a very weird feeling because I am generally not an emotional person, yet this moment hit me.... Ahhhh just typing this and re-reading it has given me goosebumps..hahhah, ummm I'll blame it on the hormones hehehe!!
So for Lilianna I would pick Barbie.

I felt proud when my 2 year old went to daycare. She just went off to play with the kids, and that made me feel good! On the other hand, I felt TERRIFIED- what if she hurt herself, what if she wanted cuddles at nap time?? It was an emotional day!

I would love to win the Batman design for my little man who just started Senior Kindergarten. He was so excited for school this year (hopefully that lasts forever...yeah right! A mom can dream right?! LOL) When I went to drop him off he ran right into the yard and waved goodbye to me and off he went to play with his new friends. I got a little teary eyed seeing him leave, but I knew he was happy and that he was going to have lots of fun!!!
That being said I love the fact that the thermos brand is all stainless steel with no glass inside to break. I've bought so many insulated thermos' over the years and all of them have cracked at some point.

Lil J currently spends the day with his grandma while Mommy & Daddy are at work. My first day back to work was the worst - although I knew he was in good, trusting hands, I missed him dearly!! Miss S is in grade 5 now so the first day of school consists of convincing her that it will be fun to go back to school!
I would love the Barbie lunchbag & Funtainer as Miss S was just looking for a Funtainer yesterday at the store. If that's taken, Lil J will definitely enjoy the Batman lunchbag!

My daughter goes to a montessori school, she latches onto me like a little baby monkey every single time I drop her off and cries when I leave. When I pick her up at the end of the day she tells me how much fun she had with "the kids" and talks about going back the next day. Hopefully soon she won't be so upset when I drop her off!

When my eldest daughter went to Kindergarten for the first time, she went happily on her way......leaving me with tears welling in my eyes! I was devastated and she was fine lol
My youngest daughter was the opposite! She would hang on to me until it was ridiculous!!! She did this through Kindergarten and Grade1. I remember once, thinking I'd made a clean go of it when I heard her running down the hallway of the school yelling, mommy, mommy lol Poor kidlet!
I'd prefer "either" actually as I have both a boy and a girl who could use these!
