When I saw Krickets on Twitter, I got excited because a couple of summers ago we bought a whole bunch of "Viking" style clothing for Charles. A great shirt with a Viking long boat on it, he got beautiful pants to match the outfit as well. The clothes are extremely well made.
It has the European style and quality without the heft price tag as such can be found in France, they are from Quebec so the French influence of style and quality is there.
Why shop at Baby Gap? I mean this genuinely and not to knock GAP but Krickets is better, the prices are better and it's a Canadian company.
I have bought clothing from there where the stitching is off and not even. Having a mother who sewed I became very aware of how to check for quality when out shopping and poor stitching represented poor/mediocre quality where a company is not even all that concerned in what they put out, even if cost $30 for a sleeper. At least that's our impression.
I was sent a wonderful outfit as a thank you from Krickets and it came when my mother was here visiting from Winterpeg, Manitscoldout.
Right away, she grabbed the clothing and commented on how nicely it is made and thought it was European because of the fine details of the clothing and the matching features of every piece.I also had a girlfriend visit, who has no children and she was even impressed with the stitching and quality.

We got the above outfit, I promise I'll post a picture of Charles in this. The vest is super warm, the shell is 100% cotton as is the double lure lining. The inside is stuffed with polyester it has fine stitching detail on the pockets. The flannel shirt the long sleeved tee, all cotton with impeccable details, the Akulik line is super fun.
