i have a toddler cook book I like to use! I just like mix things up, switch up fruits and veggies she was the pickiest eater for a while, now she is great! I only try to give her one sweet thing a day, if she does something good, a reward. amypugmire@live.com

Healthy Tip:
for my little one I like to make zuccini bread with the healthy twist! Not only is she getting the veggie she is also getting whole wheat and yogurt. The whole family loves it. Now to find a healthy version of banana bread.

I guess I'm not much help because I'm hoping to work on this, I have one picky eater but I guess I'm more relaxed because we still breastfeed so I know that's about her only healthy intake
I try to make the foods she likes, but add eggs and spinach to her soup, sometimes she'll eat it, other times not so much. It's kind of annoying actually :-P

One of the things I do to help my kids eat better is I shred/puree tons of veggies such as broccoli, spinich, carrots, zuccini and toss them into what ever I am cooking. I also always put whole veggies on their plates because I know one of these days their tastes will change and when that day comes they will pick up that nasty veggie and eat it. This has worked great so far for my 8 year old who will eat anything now still working on my 6 and 3 year olds and my 1 year old loves any cooked veggies!!!

My healthy eating tip is to plan ahead! If you leave things to the last minute, you usually wind up not eating a balanced meal.

When feeding my daughter I just try to make sure she has a fruit or vegetable during each meal and convenience foods are pretty much nonexistent in my house.

We just expect our kids to eat bites of all their food. How old they are is how many bites they eat. We also get them involved in choosing and cooking!

1) my little guy has to have a fruit or veg with each meal... fortunately he's not fussy. if he was, i think i'd sneak veggies into baking or pasta sauces, etc.

my tip: I like to make eating fun! If they won't eat a sandwich that is whole, try cutting it up into pieces and use a fork to eat it. Also to get my daughter to eat more dinner I give her a little dish of healthy dip (guacamole or hummus)
