What do you get a 3 yr old? You know when you go to the toy store and see all the fabulous brands of toys you wonder will my son play with it? Would this be a good gift for a preschooler?
Well, here are some of my suggestions as they have all been tried and tested by my soon to be 3 year old!
I know for a fact with his friends birthday's coming up as well, I'll be heading to the nearest toy store for one of these great products. Did I mention how affordable these toys are?
Sesame Street Playskool Lets Rock Elmo Guitar.
My son loves this and so will yours.
He rocks out to the classic Elmo tune, dances and sings. I see a future rock star here. It light's up and it's fun. Is it annoying? Not at all. Charlie and his dad can rock out together as my husband plays guitar. It's rather sweet seeing them play and sing along to Elmo's world.
The Guitar includes three preschool tunes, three modes of play, light-up keys and a fun whammy bar! For even more rockin’ fun.

Tonka Chuck and Friends Flip the Bounce Back Racer
I truly have no idea who has more fun with this. My husband or Charlie.
This great for preschoolers, it's a remote control vehicle that drives on both sides for double fast action playing. Drive the race car with the included controller as fast as it will go. Then, when you’re ready, flip the car to the other side. Now it’s a stunt truck and you can race it some more! Yes, it is awesome, fun and a great toy for boys.

Tonka Chuck and Friends Rumblin Chuck Vehicle.
With my sons name being Charles it's a given that I get him a truck called Chuck.
He runs with this holding on to both sides, laughs hysterically when Chuck revves his engine and does a poppa a wheely.
When Charlie tries to fill his trunk, Chuck plays back and starts shaking trying to shake off what Charlie has put in. With over 50 phrases and sounds, this hard-working little friend has lots to "say" and share. Another great toy!

Classic toy, the Tonka T.S 4000 Dump Truck.
Remember when Tonka's were made of steel? I know we'll have this for many years. Maybe Charlies kids will get to play with it!
This doesn't light up or make fancy sounds, this is as classic as it gets and a great "heirloom" gift. Built with a steel cab, steel dump bed and signature steel grille, this vehicle is tough enough to stand up to your hardest “construction jobs”. Fill up the dump bed, “drive” it to its destination as my son vroooms all over the place with it. This dump truck vehicle is built to operate in the toughest outdoor conditions.

All of these sound fabulous. Our favorite is the gloworm, it's a classic.
Tonka, Tonka, Tonka! Need I say more?
Remember Light Brite? I think that's how it's spelled. Loved that when I was a kid. And Fashion Plates.
I played Hippo. You know those Hippo's with the balls. Snakes and Ladders was my fave also as well as Operation.
OMG, I love, love, loved Fashion Plates!
