Kicking Breast Cancer to the Curb
The Breast Cancer Society of Canada partners with Enviro Healthcare Inc. by developing an exclusive household product for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Sept. 20, 2011 (Toronto, ON) - Enviro Healthcare Inc, a leading supplier of high quality hospital laundry bags and various healthcare products, has developed a series of household pink ribbon trash bags in support of the Breast Cancer Society of Canada hitting shelves at major retailers across Canada today.
In an effort to help raise funds for the organization, Enviro Healthcare has created the Kick Breast
Cancer to the Curb campaign by donating $0.50 from each sale directly back to the Breast Cancer Society of Canada. The campaign will be running for a limited time by concentrating it's efforts in October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and then continuing through the holiday season. A minimum of $35,000 is anticipated to be raised across Canada by the end of 2011.
"We decided to partner with Enviro Healthcare Inc. since they have a long standing history in the supply and distribution of premium plastic hospital laundry bags used in the healthcare market. We look forward to growing our partnership with them in raising funds for early detection studies, improved treatment methods and the prevention of breast cancer across Canada," says Marsha Davidson, Executive Director for the Breast Cancer Society of Canada.The pink bags are available in two standard sizes: the large bags, designed to fit the common household garbage can, is 28" x 34" or 67 liter capacity. The smaller bags, used for under counter kitchen and bathrooms are 22" x 24" with a 31 liter capacity. Both products are supplied with twist ties for easy closure and add decoration to a usually bleak area of the household.
