When I was contacted to see what Gownie was all about I was pleasantly surprised with the quality, the funky prints although I picked a classic English Rose design, the Elise and the cotton.
Why didn't I know of Gownies before hand? A must for all moms to be to add to their baby/mom registries. I wrote mom as well because we need things too!

(Katie Smith-Patti on facebook and KSPatti628 on twitter) My husband is in the military and was out of town completing training when I took my pregnancy test. We didn't expect to get pregnant so quickly as we had just experienced a miscarriage the previous month. After taking the test and seeing that it was positive, I called him crying letting him know we were pregnant again! I was so nervous, scared and excited! I so wanted this to be our take home baby. He told me to try and relax and just be happy. I'm currently 25 weeks along and expecting baby's arrival in January!

When I told my husband that we were expecting, it was a late night because of work and we were about to sit down to eat and I just sprung it on him that we were expecting. He jumped up with exciting and ran around the house as if he just won the lottery! After that though he couldn't eat because he was so excited.

I surprised my husband with the positive test stick when he came home from military drill one day. Finally told my mom by having a shirt for her made with the ultrasound picture on it and it said grandma to be. She started crying!!

How did you share with your family or significant other that you were expecting?
with our last pregnancy with little miss, we waited a little bit before making the announcement to the family. Our second daughter was begging so much for a sibling that we allowed her to announce it to my mother. she walked up to her and said
"Nana, how many grandchildren do you have?"
to which my mother answered 2.
and she said "nuh-uh, try again!"
somehow my mother didn't realize right away and nearly fainted in shock when it finally clicked in!

I told my husband we were expecting baby #2 by having our 2 year old deliver personalized M&M's to him that read "Baby on the way" and "Baby Hodgson". He was thrilled, the 2 year old just wanted to eat the treats.

This time we bought an ornament with a family of 7 and told them we can't hang it up till next year (because right now there's only 6 of us)...everyone was very excited!

I freaked out and asked him all these hypothetical questions like 'oh what if we had a baby like right now?'... after 3 of these kind of questions he got suspicious and I surprised him with the positive pregnancy test. As for my mom, she actually had a feeling I was pregnant! I was so surprised!

For baby #1 we put a picture of my positive digital test in a grandparents picture frame and gave them to our parents. For #2 we had our daughter wear a shirt that said "Guess whoooo has a secret" on the front with a picture of an owl. On the back it said "I'm going to be a big sister" and it had the owl from the front with a baby owl.
My husband knew I was going to take the pregnancy test in the morning. I was anxious so I got up early and took it before he was awake. After I got the results, I crawled back into bed and told him. He was so happy that he sent out a mass text to our family right away.

I also like Everything Mom and Baby on Facebook! And we went on a "telling spree" over like 3 days, although the most hilarious one was my dad. On father's day we got him a mug and a hat, one said "World's Greatest Dad" and the other said "Worlds Greatest Grampa", except he didn't really read the second one so he was like "Oh thanks.... they match." and his fiancee was all like OMG THE MUG! It was pretty hilarious.
My husband was with me when I took the test...and I just told my family one night after a visit with them all casually...although they had their suspicions! I like Baby be Mine and EM&B on FB.
I just took the test upstairs and handed it to my hubby. My nerves got the best of me.
