CuddlyWrap Gift Set from Peapod Creations

 I've never experienced a baby wrap until recently and I am so happy I had the privilege to be selected by Peapod Creations to review some of their products.

A little about Peapod Creations:

All CuddlyWraps, blankets and burp clothes are made in Canada, and in my hometown Winnipeg, Manitoba.  They are a family based business and believe in the importance of closeness and nurturing family ties.

Products offered and my experience:

The CuddlyWrap.  100% Organic Cotton. Since becoming a mother the importance of carrying baby close to you is one of the easiest ways to soothe a colicky, sick or just plain cranky baby and who doesn't want to have their newborn close to them so your sweet angel can be soothed by the sound of your heart beat.  Baby's are much happier when being carried.
There is NO such thing as spoiling your infant with the unconditional love of carrying your baby in a wrap.  It is beyond comfortable and with the help of a DVD that it comes with it is even easier to put on.
When I first had Charlie we were on the hunt for something like this.  I wish I had this when I first came across it but the sales clerk wasn't sure in how to use it and was kind of not interested in showing me how so I agreed with the clerk that it looked difficult and passed on such a fabulous wrap.

When I got this I watched the DVD and I was actually pleased to see how easy it is to put this on. 
I was also upset that when I first came across a wrap I wasn't shown how easy it is and how lovely a baby wrap is!
My sweet tot, yes...tot was under the weather a couple of weeks ago and I had errands to do around the home and he wanted me to soothe him the way I always do and one of them is carrying. So here's a photo of me and my big little angel in our CuddlyWrap.  When he says "hold me mama",  how can I say no and I'm sorry but he's a heavy dude and I was able to carry my 40pd'er and I had no back ache or any issues.  It was beyond comfortable with the wide back straps to offer proper support and comfort. The Blanket. 100 % organic and Oeco-Tek approved dyes.  32" square shape blanket can be used for swaddling your new born but in our household it's my sons new favorite blankey! He's getting into the cuddly age of holding something when sleeping and he likes his blanket at bed time or when we're out and about in the stroller.  Did I mention it's supper soft?

Burp Cloths. 100 % organic and Oeco-Tek approved dyes. Comes in a set of 4 and I use mine at the park with him to wipe him clean!  Since he's not burping anymore I always have one in my diaper bag as they are fabulous to have around because you never when a mess or spill will happen!

With a couple of books under her belt such as Organically Raised~ Conscious Cooking for babies and toddlers which is on my Wish List, Anni has come out with her newest book, Ice Pop Joy.

What is so wonderful about this book?
The variety of recipes and ingredients.  It is such a fabulous book because of the creativity that has gone into making this amazing cookbook.  All recipes were tasted and created by Anni and her beautiful family.

With such recipes as Peanut Butter and Chocolate Classic one of the healthy ingredients is wheat germ,  Mexican Spiced Fire Pops has kale in it, Sore Throat Soother is made up of chamomile and honey, one of our favorites is the Yellow Goodness which consists of yellow squash, cantalope and mango! Green Machine is pretty cool too with raw spinach and flaxseed but wait then there's a recipe for quinoa! The Quinoa Pop is lovely with blueberriers, banana's, yogurt and quinoa!  Pure Sunshine was our first that we tested and my tot loved the combination of strawberries, lemons, mint & honey.

So that is just a little sampling of some of the fabulous Ice Pop Joy recipes.
It's broken down into 7 categories: Pure Fruit Pops, Veggie Pops, Yogurt Pops, Tofu Pops, Herbal Tea Pops, Chocolate Pops and Specialty Pops.  It's a 144 pages of ultimate healthy goodness for your family.

Best Bottom Diaper Giveaway! {CLOSED}

I love Best Bottom diapers and I have a fab pair to give to you that comes with one Stay dry insert.

Why?
It's simple and no stuffing and unstuffing required. Very daddy friendly, day care friendly and sitter friendly.  Not to mention they aren't as bulky as others and it's easy on the diaper bag and diaper pail!

 Fits from birth to 35+ lbs. With added special leg gussets to help keep everything in, adjustable rise with four settings, and overlapping closure in both snap and hook & loop. This is a very trim fitting diaper so please be extra careful that none of the insert is sticking out of the shell.
Also, after the diaper is on, pull the leg gussets out around baby's legs. This will guard against leaks and help avoid any red marks. 

How doe it work?
The diaper shell can be re-used and re-used until it's obvious that needs a wash.
You just unsnap the insert, use a wet wipe or use my favorite wipe wash from Lovey's. Spray, wipe and place another insert.  I love using Lovey's because it contains essential oils and all essential oils have anti bacterial properties. It smells heavenly (citrus), great to brighten up your day.

The Inserts
The inserts come in 3 sizes. Small(green trim), Medium (white trim) and Large(blue trim)

Microfiber inserts

The different types of Inserts

Stay Dry- Absorbent micro fibre inserts with a fleece top so you don't have to worry. Baby/Toddler will be dry against their bits.  It consists of 4 layers of super thirsty microfiber topped with a super soft no-pill fleece pulling wetness away from baby's bottom keeping them feeling dry.

Hemp/Organic Cotton- Don't like micro fiber? No problem they have a hemp/organic cotton option(unbleached)
It consists of 5 layers of hemp/Certified Organic cotton topped with a soft layer of hemp/Certified Organic cotton fleece. This insert is so trim you will be able to have your baby wear jeans again! Please note that hemp inserts will shrink slightly during first washings making them consistent with the other insert sizing.


Over Night Inserts- Their Overnight option makes cloth diapering at night with no leaks a breeze! Each Overnight insert consists of 6 layers of super thirsty microfiber made to fit with any Regular insert option of the same size.
Snap in the Overnight option and snap a Regular insert on top - you choose if you want to use the Stay Dry option or Hemp/Organic Cotton option touching your baby!
