I've been using IQ Environmentally Safe Cleaners for a month now and love them. What I love the most is the reduction of plastic bottles thrown in trash and that they are toxic free.
Since having my son my whole opinion on cleaning products have been wiped out and replaced with safe eco, chemical free brands. I hate that strong chemical smell which makes me wonder if mothers who are pregnant should use them? IQ Cleaner is definitely a smarter option.

IQ smells nice! Really nice and I don't mind if my toddler wants to help clean with me when he insists on wiping the glass on our coffee table.

We're all about fat in our household. The good fats.
You'll never find my son drinking 2% or eating low fat. We're all about full fat everything. Homo milk to 6% sheeps milk which is delicious by the way. I get really annoyed when I see cereal commercials with kids and they are pouring 2% milk with their high sugar cereals.
Why we love good fat?
Because kids need the good fat for their brain. Essential fats are also essential for normal growth and development. When your depriving your child of healthy fats you could be depriving them of essential nutrients like the nutrients needed to build a healthy immune system. A child immune system isn't fully mature until they are about 6-7 yrs old. I'm talking good fats here, not the bad ones like hydrogenated oils which are high in trans fatty acids. Please throw away the margarine and use butter.
In utero your EFA(essential fat acids)intake is just as important for your growing baby's brain and neurological development.
I had cod liver oil growing up and remember that taste all too well. When Ascenta Health contacted me about doing a piece on their NutraSea Kids I was totally up for it as I was researching EFA's for my son so this was perfect timing. Their NutraSea Kids is very yummy and my tot loves it!

Why? Potty Training. I have been able to successfully potty train my toddler(2 1/2yr old) with Kinder Eggs to reward him for FINALLY using the potty. These make the best rewards for anything really but in our case it has helped with potty training. So I encourage you to go to your local grocers and pick up a couple of Kinder Eggs and try it if your struggling with potty training!
My son announces "Mommy, I want to go potty" he goes and then asks "Mommy can I have a Kinder Egg?"
In fact he just came up to the computer screen to see what I am doing and saw got excited seeing the Kinder Eggs on the computer screen. He actually just rushed to the potty. I have to go to the store now to buy some now because we are out, LOL!
I ended up buying boxes, the sets that come in 3 and the CARS2 Kinder Egg were the best. I still see them around so I better get to Shoppers Drug Mart fast! They are on sale.
We've collected Mator, Luigi, Lightning McQueen, Sally, and lots more.
We've even gotten some of the new toys Kinder Surprise is announcing. We love the AniBalloons.

Kinder Eggs were popular for Christmas and Easter but families from all over are finding Kinder Eggs the best treat to give their kids. It's fun to get the egg, unwrap it, eat the delicious fine milk chocolate and see a treat in the middle. We shake the little egg shape to hear what's inside and we open it to see the fun little toy.

Last month we made a trip to our old neighbourhood to review this fabulous place for PTPA-Parent Tested, Parent Approved.
We were greeted by a very friendly, fantastic Froyo employee to tell us what Yogurty's is all about. It's self serve, so you control your portion and the topping are endless. The toppings were impressive just as the flavour selections of frozen yogurt.
Red Velvet(one of their most popular), Vanilla, Chocolate & Peanut Butter(which I thought tasted better than the usual ice cream), Banana Split, Cotton Candy, Chocolate I mean there is so much to choose from! As you can see in the picture above, there's 6 stations of different flavours, 2 single flavours and the 3rd listed is a perfect blend of both!

With Canadians in the midst of another hot and humid summer, it’s important for parents to keep young children well hydrated. One way to do so is through the use of a sippy cup filled with water, breast milk, juice or formula. Sippy cups are extremely popular among Canadian moms. A recent survey by Playtex Infant showed that 88% of Canadian moms have children who have used a sippy cup. According to the survey, moms introduced their child to a sippy cup at varying ages with 44% of children trying a sippy cup for the first time at 10 months old.
PlaytexInfant offers these top five tips, that I thought you would be interested in some tips on how to help keep baby cool and hydrated this summer:
– If you’re feeling hot, chances are your baby is too, so be sure to dress for the weather. Cool cottons and linens are comfortable and let your skin breathe.
The sun is the hottest from 11am to 3pm so avoid going outside at this time. If you do go out on a hot day, ensure your baby is shaded from the sun as best as possible.
If you run out of water or it becomes too hot to enjoy, pop into a local cafe or restaurant and most will be more than happy to fill your sippy cup with cool water.
If it’s a really hot day, try filling one of your sippy cups with ice. By the time your baby is thirsty, most of the ice will have melted, creating a cool and refreshing drink.
