I was jumping with glee when I got this as I have never had a carrier made exclusively for me and made in Canada. The attention to detail Michelle puts into the carriers are amazing. No loose threads hanging off, each seam is made straight and with love.
It is a high quality carrier at first glance when I held it and inspected I knew I had something good. The padding in the upper back offers support and can be folded down for even more support. Dear son is in the optimal sitting position and he loves this carrier as much as I do as he makes sure I have our NMP.
"NMP, momma..bring it" too cute for words and when we're out and about "Momma, hold a me".
I know my baby carrying days are numbered, thank god for toddler/preschooler carriers. If you think I am nuts to carry my son then you have never baby worn, sorry if that sounds bold.I get lots of looks when people see me toddlerwearing so my bold statement is not directed to you as you know what it means to babywear. That's why you're here!
There is nothing more to complete the connection you have with your child when your child is on you. I feel something is missing when I am not carrying my son and when he is close to me, feeling those sweet breaths on me when he's asleep I feel complete. It's like a hug.
It is the carrier that I reach for first because:
- Size(from the waist belt it's length it's 20inches) it is high to offer the support of my 3 yr old, yup when my tot is tired of walking I still carry him. My arms are saved! He's super comfortable and falls asleep within minutes.
- It fits around my wait comfortably and extends to out 45 inches
- The straps are squishy soft, I love it! Awesome padding.
- Width of body across, 16 inches.
- It is the only carrier I can criss cross on the back and feel comfortable for my frame. I am 5'9"-5'10" and busty so it is really comfortable for me and nice to have the extra support for criss crossing.
- The only con and it is easily resolved is it needs a chest strap and Michelle Dunn the fabulous creator of her carriers can send one out to you or specify you want one in your order which I didn't do or think of so I guess it's not really con :)
- My kid was too big for the hoody! LOL! However it is the only carrier I have that has built in UV protection, the white material sewn on the hood...that's the UV protector!

I like baby wearing because I can be hands free and it is less bulky then lugging that terribly heavy infant seat or a bulky stroller! I love the Buckle carrier, it would be great to have for my 2 year old cuz he is mischievous and to be able to carry him on my back would be awesome!

I just wore my 4 year old nephew this weekend in a woven wrap...he loved it! I looove babywearing bc it calms me and baby down and it really helps foster bonding with other family members. My parents have both worn my son :)

Oh! This looks awesome! I wonder how good it is for us super shorties who are slightly busty (and pregnant lol)? Also, my son is 2 but is 35lbs and 37". He's as big as his 4 year old brother and they share clothes, so I hope I'm not pushing it wanting a carrier for him! But, if it doesn't work, I can always use it for this next one!

Both the sparrows and the birds of Norway are pretty funky! When my little one was very tiny I loved that I could get things done while wearing her. Now that she is two I love that it keep her contained in places I don't want her running around in (ie. the yarn shop!).
I like Birds of Norway and Green Scrolls for the print and I think that I like the Half Buckle carrier best

I love babywearing. It has helped me for the last 22 months. I can shop, clean, cook, and so many other things, while my daughter is on my back. She can see what I'm seeing, or have a rest when she is tired.
My husband owns a NMP carrier. Michelle made one with The Who logo on it. He loves it.
I love babywearing for many reasons, but mostly it's just having my little ones so close to me! I love the Buckle Carrier in the Feeling Groovy print :)

I love babywearing since it allows me to keep my hands free. It is great when we are dancing around the house since my little one (4 months old) already weighs close to 20 lbs so this way we can dance for longer since wraps or carriers helps spread the weight rather than me trying to use my arms.

I love babywearing my almost 6 month old. I can't go an hour without holding him close, knowing he is safe in his mommy's arms is the best, and being able to have him close enough to kiss is the best! These carriers are beautiful!
I babywear for the convenience. Try wheeling a stroller anywhere other than a wide empty mall corridor!

What I love about carrying my daughter. I love that she feels close to me when she needs or want to. I love that I can kiss her little head and sniff it. :D I love that I know where she is when I get busy. What isnt to love... Plus it makes breastfeeding easy when they want to be held while walkign and nursing.

I love wearing my son because I feel so connected and close to him! I feel that it can really comfort and soothe him and since he is 30lbs now...it is a great way to carry him without breaking my back or arms! :) I love the Sparrows print!

I love babywearing because it is easier to get around the city and ride the transit. I do need to worry about a stroller fitting through a door way or taking up too much space or carrying it up and down stairs. I just strap on my baby and go! Also my children loved to be worn, keeps them nice and close to mama!
I love that it allows me to keep my little one close by when I'm trying to get something done, and a way to carry her easily when out and about! I only have an infantino soft structured and a Mamankangourou and I love neither. They both bother my back and would love something that would also allow me to back carry. I think this buckle carrier would be great for us!

The Birds of Norway print is amazing <3 I love babywearing becuase it just feels great to snuggle baby all day. With my little one, she also is pretty fussy so if I want to get anything done or ever leave the house Babywearing is the only way.

I love baby wearing because our DD loves it - she loves to snuggle in. But the carrier I have is super uncomfortable now that she is 19 pounds. SO I would LOVE to try out the Buckler carrier for a toddler size in Birds of Norway since you say it's so comfortable and all :)
