Join the Green Parents Show on April 21st, 2012 as we attempt to break the world record for the most cloth diapers changed at one time!
Do you cloth diaper? Pre-Register online {here}, they need at least 25 parents to participate to be eligible for the Guinness Book of World Records.
To help continue to raise awareness of cloth diapering, several people are involved in the movement, including The Laundry Tarts and Funky Fluff & Stuff Inc. have joined forces with the nonprofit Real Diaper Association for the second annual international event taking place on Saturday, April 21 (day before Earth Day) called, "The Great Cloth Diaper Change."
The event is also timed at the finale of the International Cloth Diaper Awareness Week (April 16-21).
In 2011, The Great Cloth Diaper Change created incredible buzz in Canada and all over the world with 5,026 babies changed at 127 locations in five countries, setting a Guinness World Record.
This year there are currently 144 locations and counting including sites in nine countries such as Canada, USA, Australia, Chile and Switzerland. That's a lot of babies being changed in cloth diapers at one time.
