Here's a great book for all parents to get who support a greener, kinder environment that supports your baby's bond between you.  From breast and bottle feeding, feeding and weaning to providing tips for a healthy home and natural therapies you'll discover new and traditional ways to a positively green life with your baby.
This book is for all parents of babies and children from newborn to 3 years.
Lots of practical, inexpensive ideas for greener living, plus step by step projects.

On page. 118 here's a great little recipe for treating Cradle Cap.  Something I see on meet up groups popping up with parents asking, "How do I get rid of it?"
Here's what this book suggests.  They do warn not to pick at the crust or loosen flakes, because this will result in bleeding, which could lead to secondary bacterial or fungal infections' taking hold.

" Wash the hair scalp with a mild baby shampoo about 3 times a week to speed up the natural healing process.
Brush the hair and scalp with a soft bristle brush to encourage faster flaking.
Gently massage the scalp.  Mix one teaspoon of lemon juice with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and apply twice daily to the scalp.  This can be left on or rinsed off with warm water or a mild baby shampoo."

I really enjoyed the writers writing style with this book. There is life after baby.  Put that ponytail and leave your hair down.  Get out of the comfy yoga wear and put a little lipstick on.
This book is engaging and this book is kinda like a road map to the altered terrain of life once baby becomes a part of the family.
Life After Baby offers down to earth tips on addressing everyday issues such as:
* weightloss
* Supercharging Moms nutrition
* Rediscovering beauty basics
* Reviving Passion ( oh yeah... our partner)
* Fighting Fatigue
* Overcoming Stress

I'll have to agree that stretching is probably one of my favorite stress busters as mentioned in this book.  Along with deep breathing.  With babywearing, picking up baby, getting the car seat in and out if you don't babywear can contribute to back ache, along with hunching over while feeding your new baby. Gentle stretching as suggested in this book can make a big difference in counteracting these stresses in new motherhood.
