EMB's Favorite Find: Along Came Peanut #babywearing Mesh Wrap

Wednesday, August 15, 2012

Along Came Peanut is a Canadian company based out of Milton, ON.
Kate is the creator of her handmade items that combines funky fun fashion for your little trendsetters.
With an obsession for crafting, sewing and designing for her two kidlets and branching out to friends and family Kate had a vision and created her own line and business.

Here are just some of her fun items created just for your little trendsetter!
To see more items and to contact Along Came Peanut visit her page on Facebook!

But what caught my eye when browsing her site and Facebook page was her mesh wraps.
I have a friend of mine looking for such a product as she wanted a nice alternative to summer babywearing and from trying on gauze wraps to others she settled with the wrap I suggested from Along Came Peanut.
You can't go wrong with the price and product made in Canada.  The mesh wrap is only $29!

Along Came Peanuts mesh wraps comes in 3 sizes: Small, Medium and Large and good for up to the weight of the child of 30 pounds.  I was really impressed with the quality of the mesh for the price it is. You better hurry to her site, she only has a couple left and we're going to be giving one away!
It dries quickly, so it's nice for a stroll on the beach or a wade in the pool.

Here is a picture of my friend with her little girl who just turned 1 yrs old! And Emma's words were:

" It's surprisingly supportive, seeing as how it's mesh. Much better than the gauze."                                 "The weight is spread out beautifully. Not stretchy at all!?"

This looks great. I'm due with my 3rd and had given all my baby stuff away because I thought we were done, but I guess we weren't.

I love that it's so light and great for summer. My Beco is far too hot some days, and I certainly couldn't go in the water with it on!

I've never used a wrap and my baby is too big now, but for a second child I could see it would be really useful!

Mesh wrap looks very interesting!

I have a mesh ring sling, but it is slippery on my shoulder so I mainly use it for right in the water. The wrap looks like it would be handy all summer long!
