Play and the joy of learning with your child through Fisher Price #FisherPriceMoms

I wish I had the camera handy when the big box from Fisher Price came for my son to review and play with special toys, picked just for him based on his age.  I don't know who has more fun. Him or me?

Thanks to Fisher Prices new Playtime Guide and that the folks at Fisher Price know my son and he received the following toys that focus on his development at the age of 4yrs such  as cognitive skills(He can play longer and spend more time being engaged in one toy) and social & emotional habits( he encourages sharing and wants me to play with him so he is engaged and listens and communicates with me as he explains the toy and when his toy makes a remark)

Here's what we got!

What I've noticed at him age is imaginative play is most fun and the Imaginext Eagle Talon Castle is right up his ally.  He creates his own medieval adventure as get the knights in their shield and armor and invade the enemies with disks that can shoot out.  It's really cool and highly recommend you get this around the Holidays. It's so interactive and the DVD that is comes with is brilliant for kids to watch. I know that I'll be getting add ons to this castle such as the dragons and oggers.

Is your child a fan of Jake and the Neverland Pirate's?
If so then you'll want to check this out from Fisher Price!  It's the Pirate Jake's Musical Pirate Ship Buckey.  My sons imagination kicks into story time with this and the stories he comes up with when playing with his ship is priceless.  It also peaks his curiosity as he figures out all the little action trinkets in the ship and how everything works. He'll even incorporate it into the castle!  Lots of playtime fun with this toy.
Lastly...Cars. Cars and a fun racetrack!
Get a whole bunch of Little People cars and get the kids together for this fun and interactive toy.  I think it's great for more than one child to play with this as it would teach sharing and playing cooperatively.  Watch the commercial here
As always I want to hear from you!
What are some your kids favorite toys at the moment? Do you play as well?
Disclosure: I am a Fisher-Price Mom and I receive special perks as part of my affiliation with this group. The opinions on this blog are my own.

My girls would love the Jake ship although I'd probably have to get them their own so they don't fight! There is the older version of that car track at our playgroup my song likes to play with it but cool that they remade it with a loop de loop!
