This is our first time playing with Lego Duplo and my son can easily spend an hour or more just with himself and his Lego Duplo. Win/win right?
I have peace and quiet while he plays. He learns through focus which is new for me to see him so focused on what he is building as he is playing with Lego and has no distractions. To be honest he lost interest quite quickly with the loud gimmicky toys we have so I really noticed how long he spent with his new Lego Duplo.
He loves to build, imagine/create and make his own sounds and comments as he plays.
Here's what we got from Lego Duplo : LEGO® DUPLO® Large Brick Box
I also included LEGO DUPLO icons that show's the benefits of playing with LEGODUPLO.

LEGO® DUPLO® Bricks and Books (assorted and pictured above) Farm
What impressed me was my son understood the visual from the book and was able to build the animals himself. He even said, "Look Mommy! I built it"

Now this is a mix of the LEGO® DUPLO® Play with Letters
and the LEGO DUPLO Market he got for his birthday recently.
And speaking of birthdays....LEGO DUPLO is the gift to give,
parents will thank you for the peace and quiet they will receive through play. My son had fun with one
of his best buddies playing LEGO at his birthday party.
1) Now if you're looking for a little inspiration, have your child come over to the computer and check out these great video's for new ways to build.
Some things to check out:
2) Also here is a great FREE app from LEGODUPLO! They've said it best. "So many ways to play"
3) Fun LEGO DUPLO Facts!
Did you know…
Every playtime can use a good soundtrack
According to research conducted by Harris Interactive for LEGO Systems:
55% of children are happier when music is coupled with play
50% are more excited to play when they hear music
43% of children act sillier when music is coupled with play
4) Learning through Play Project.

Great review and post! My youngest and I played with a Lego set this week (not sure if it was Duplo but they were bigger pieces than usual). We had a great time building our house. Love Lego!
Erica lovely post boys are doing an awesome job #LEGODUPLOplay
Love it! EVERY kid needs Lego DUPLO! I remember building houses with Lego as a kid. Then my brothers and cousins would destroy my Lego houses and want to build something else. Lego always makes me think of my childhood.
