A little while I ran a giveaway courtesy of Playtex for their new Diaper Genie Elite, check out the post here.  I had 10 to giveaway and winners had the option to review their Diaper Genie after winning.  There was as incentive though as I wanted to hear back from the winners.  If you wanted to leave an honest review, I was then going to do a draw for a $50 Babies R Us Gift card.

I think the assemble part is a little difficult. I scare to push down on hinge until hinge snaps into place.

The refill part, I found the instruction on itself is easier to understand compare to the one in the DG box.

I started to use it and try to put a bunch of dirty diapers that we have during last week into it. I just want to check if it can keep the smell shut.
After over night, I found there is no smell come out when we open the room. This is awesome!I am happy with DG. It does it job! Keeps the odor in.  Thank you Playtex Diaper Genie for invented this product!

I wish I had a Diaper Genie Elite from the start of my mommydom. It is SO much easier to step on the pedal and deposit "the package" into the odor containment system known as the Diaper Genie Elite as opposed to running to the garage every time my daughter decided to leave me something a little extra special.  The unit itself is super easy to assemble which is a huge plus! Nothing deters you from using a product more than endless pages of instructions leading you to question your own intelligence and whether or not it will be even possible to use.  My little monkey has always been on the squirmy side so being able to hold her in one arm or on my hip step on the pedal and dispose with one hand is great. The odors are contained, there won't be anymore garage runs in my future, and there won't be an odor trail going through the house from me doing so.  I would recommend this product to any mom-to-be, new mom, or any other mom whom has a little one in diapers.

I am thrilled with the Playtex Diaper Genie Elite.  We had previously just been using a garbage can and taking the dirty diapers out regularly.  With the Diaper Genie Elite I no longer walk into my daughter’s bedroom and immediately think I have to take the garbage with the dirty diapers out.  There no longer is any smell.  It is so easy to use.  I would recommend getting one.

Thank you for the diaper genie. Wow what a nice way to dispose of stinky diapers. This is a great diaper genie for us because  we now have our garbage picked every 2 weeks. The smell will be awful in the summer. this also helps us when sorting recycled and garbage items.  We know  right away that this is the diaper bag. I also have 2 small dogs that use puppy pads in the winter, (its way to cold for them to go outside). I also put the puppy pads in  the diaper genie along with the diapers. Works great for me. Thanks again and love the new diaper genie.
