What are some of the specs/features you look for in a camera? Quickly, I will say when I first picked this up from the box I knew I was holding a quality camera. It has a nice weight to it and rubberized texture. It was love at first sight.
For me I am about picture quality, great zoom(and apparently some of you think so too!) and easy set up. I love a nice clear shot and shooting in natural light. Oh I also love the wireless feature!
I will be doing more posts on the Fuji F800 EXR and all of it's awesome and unique features because there is a lot to tell.
Camera Set Up and Menu
The camera's menu itself is straight forward which splits into photo menu and set up menu. For even faster photo options you can simply click on the "F"(function button) for photo modes such as ISO, image size, continuous shots, landmark navigator, Geo-tagging and Film Simulation.
Picture Quality
Right now I want to show you the picture quality. I love it. I was wondering if it would be as nice a my little Canon and it has by far exceeded my expectations.
Fuji will be my exclusive camera of choice for all my blog photo's as I've been looking long and hard for a quality brand to represent.
You also get a beautiful LCD screen in terms of brightness and contrast on the back where you can see your photo's ever so nicely or set up the histogram and photo grids.
Here are some of my unedited pics from the new Fuji F800 EXR where we captured some Winter Wonderland Fun, all pics were taken on the EXR setting:

About the Fuji F800EXR
Depending where you live the new Fuji F800 EXR comes in a variety of colours. In Canada, it comes in Red and Black.
You can share image wirelessly(WI-FI) from anywhere with this digital camera. It works with your smartphone or tablet and takes excellent 20x optical zoom that expands to 40x. There's a free app that works with this(which will be my next blog post!) that you download onto your phone/tablet so you can share photo's with friends and family everywhere.
Movies are made easy with the F800EXR one touch button where you truly get high quality HD. I think I'll use that feature for when the twins come to share with you.

Lets talk ZOOM!
FujiF800 Lens
I love the wide angle lens! I can minimize blur even at maximum zoom which drives me crazy. I wish I had this when I was at the Madonna concert. All I got was blurs from my old camera.
Fuji's Double Sliding Structured Lens Technology empowers you with both 20x zoom and 25mm wide angle in a stylish pocket-sized compact. Fourteen lens elements smoothly telescope and slide into position to bring you closer to your subject for shots like never before. You can just leave optimal settings up to the camera, resulting in any photo you like.
If you're looking for a reliable new point and shoot camera check out Fuji. I am new and learning all things Fuji with the F800 and I can say I am impressed. To learn more about Fuji and this camera, catch the Fuji Guys on Youtube.
Any draw backs?
Well....not really. I will say you need a tiny screw driver or something small and fine to help loop the the hand strap, it was a little tricky to attach.
Do be aware that the flash pops up, sometimes a little startling, and you have to push it down to close. Be gentle.
For me everything boils down to being able to take a great picture without much hassle. I know what great photography looks like, and I don't want something second rate. I've got a 4 year old and I'm pregnant, plus my hubby is no Herb Ritts, so it has to do the job with minimal effort. If you are more of a gadget and technical type however, there are tons of cool features on this camera that will enhance every shot in every environment. I'll get to those in about 10 years or so!
Other than that.... I look forward to sharing more with on the new F800EXR!
Lets hear from you! Does this camera sound like something you'd like?
Feel free to ask further questions and I'll do my best to give you the answer you're looking for.

Wow that is a really nice camera - great pictures thanks for sharing this!! A good camera really does mean a lot when taking pictures.
Love the photo of sliding. So cute!
How is it for taking pictures with movement. My Fugi takes blurry pics when there is movement.
Hi Kristen!
It is awesome for taking pics in movement as my husband took that shot as he was going down the hill. :)
great photos. Having a good camera is a must, especially with the babies on the way.
2 more great reasons to take even more photos!
Those are some great photos...helps that you have such a cutie to photograph too LOL :)
Wow! That's a great camera! I love that its pocket size but takes photos like a big camera! Beautiful models too! :)
Wow, I'm impressed! This FujiFilm camera has the wifi support (which I'm *really* looking for in my next camera) as well as beautiful 16 MPs for quality shots and what an awesome zoom! Getting fabulous pics with 20x is amazing! :) My only question would be how well it does taking very close pictures. I take a lot of close shots of tiny objects, and it can be hit or miss on whether the camera can focus on the object without blurring/shaking.
Great question! I'll take a pic and see and I'll post it on my wall :) I'll let you know!
those are GREAT photo's! So clear, and looks like you had an amazing time outside!
It was so much fun! I love this camera for pics in natural light.
