As some of you may know I am currently pregnant with baby #2 and #3 and when I found out I was carrying twins, besides other panicking thoughts like we need to move, how am I going to do this and all the new things we'll need my diet was my true first thought. Why do I need Lauric Acid if I'm pregnant or a new mom?
Coconut oil contains Lauric Acid. It helps with stabilizing hormones, it's a great alternative to other cooking oils. It also increases Lauric Acid in breast milk. Get your Coconit oil!

Do I need to up my Calcium intake?

Well it's part of the B vitamin family, it's also known as Folate. Folic acid also helps in the development of the baby's neural tube development. It may prevent Spina Bifida. It is also suggested that if you're trying to get pregnant you up your Folic Acid intake a month before. Add some sunflower seeds to your cereal!

Well your best bet is to get it from fruits and vegetables not via supplements. Just add some of the below to your diet for safe amounts and delicious nutritious snacks. You only need 80-85mg while pregnant.
