But do you set up a registry when it's your second pregnancy?
I feel all pregnancies should be celebrated and if you find out the sex and it's different I don't see anything wrong with having another baby shower. I'm pregnant with twin girls so we'll do a little something.
Here are some tips to get you started from Sears:
~ It's a good idea to list a variety of products with a wide range of prices for the convenience of friends and family.
~ Take your time. You don't need to complete your registry in one day.
~ You may want to "pre-shop". Take a walk through the store to get an idea of what items are available and how they will compliment your home decor and style.
Getting your Registry Activated:
At Sears you are greeted by a Sales Associate who will take you over to the Registration Machine. There's also a designated area in the Sears Baby Room where you can sit and go over products if need be. The set up is straight forward and took about 5 minutes from beginning to end. Once your done let the scanning begin! If you're shopping for multiples don't forget to edit the quantity :) Also some items may not be at the store if you've created or added to your registry online. If you've selected catalogue items it should say on the registry if it's catalogue or in store.
Contests at Sears!
As your setting your Baby Registry there's a feature called The KidVantage Waiting Game. It’s an amazing opportunity to win the value of everything on your registry! No purchase is necessary. When you've created the registry and registered your items, friends and family can sign in and the guess their baby’s arrival date! Some rules do apply...Like scheduled C-Sections, labour inductions for any reason other than for health don't count!
The date can be changed up to two times, at least 60 days prior to the “guesstimated” original date. If the baby does indeed arrive on the guessed date, the winners will be awarded coupons equivalent to the net amount of items purchased off of the register.

Organic mattress $199, Booster Seat. $44.99 (trust me you don't need a high chair!), Stork Craft Hoop Glider$239.99 (for nursing and cuddling in, also PTPA approved!), Graco Pack N'Play, $139.99 (skip the bassinet and get a Pack N Play. You'll need one eventually and it's better in the long run. Put down a nice sheep skin rug for extra comfort)
Thanks for visiting Everything Mom and Baby! Happy Shopping!
What are your thoughts? Do you find it overwhelming planning a nursery? Do research blogs and look for reviews? Talk to other moms? I've helped lots of Moms get their registries in order and I tell you, it's a lot of fun! Make it fun, it doesn't have to be overwhelming.

No more babies here. But this is great for all my friends who are expecting
I'm done with babies to but hopefully my sisters will have some soon and I can share this news
That's great to know for when we decide to work on baby #2 :)
What a great way to easily set up a baby registry! No more babies here but I've seen these in the Sears stores and think they're so handy :)
I love the sears baby department! Long before I had children I would go and pick out everything I had to have..of course that all changed when I actually got pregnant....
Nicely done! I didn't register for Ethan, it's hard to register when you're on Team Green and have so much from your first!
Especially when you're having the same sex baby. But even a second baby needs a couple of new things. I don't want to put old spit up, stained onesies from my eldest but we're having girls. I've saved a couple of items that are neutral for them.
