Creating your dream nursery with Sears
My inspiration for my girls nursery is all things woodland, natural and fairy like. Maybe more Waldorf inspired. We are currently in a small 2 bdrm in downtown Toronto and I am hoping my dream of creating the girls bedroom will come true very soon. We are constantly looking for bigger space and boy do we need it with all my baby gear for the twins.

Do you need that crib ASAP? Well I thought I did and to be honest I've been co sleeping with one of the twins. With a single birth don't splurge on the crib just yet but maybe a co sleeping bassinet like this one from Summer Infant By Your Side Sleeper, $59.99. I will say I wish Sears offered more of a selection on attachment parenting type products like the one from Arms Reach which you can attach to your bed. But this will give some peace of mind for the nervous first time mom learning to co-sleep with her little one.
I also like natural fibres against my kids skin. I look for bamboo or organic cotton and non fleece baby onesies. Polyester? No way and you can learn more about it by doing some of your own research. Something new moms don't think of is the chemicals used to make that onesie fire retardant, heck even cotton is heavily sprayed with pesticides but Carters is the closest from big name brands that you can feel a little better about. They don't use fabric finishers, they don't allow anything to be put on the "raw" material even before it is made into a garment. Stick to buying cotton onesies. Some of my favourite brands found at Sears is Carters for their soft cotton and fun designed layettes. I love the simplicity in this animal print set.
Good 'ol sage advice
My Must Have item...besides a good baby quality baby carrier if you plan on breast feeding do get a breast pump. You never know what situations will arise and it's always good to have a back up plan. I've been there and done that. Trust me. After an almost injured left breast from damage thanks to the nurse manually expressing milk....my breast pump at home came to the rescue!
