Nature's Path #EarthDay #Giveaway

Friday, April 18, 2014

Very rarely so I blog about cereals let alone have a giveaway for a gift set for one but Nature's Path is one company I enjoy and have no problem endorsing.  Simply because of the ingredients.
They are organic, GMO free and free of ugly preservatives like BHT.  The ingredient list in Choco Chimps is beyond simple when you compare it to like say Count Chocula. Which would you rather? Seriously?  Choco Chimps also tastes delicious. I always take a couple of spoonfuls before giving a bowl to my son.  I, oh I mean my son has tried all of them.  They are delicious and he gives them a thumbs up. So dear fans of Everything Mom and Baby we have a giveaway for you! Valued at $50.

Another reason to like Nature's Path:
Here’s what we’re about: Nature’s Path is a Canadian, family-run, passionately independent, sustainably-driven, deliciously-healthy organic food company that believes in "leaving the earth better than we found it". We make organic cereal and granola, as well as children’s cereals and bars, not just because we know people like to eat it (and we do too!) but also because it allows us to do great, important things, like keep 204,000 lbs. of toxic pesticides out of our earth’s soil. We’re also keeping chemicals out of the kitchen because we believe it’s the right thing to do for our consumers, their families and future generations.  And we want to connect with outspoken, passionate online moms like you who feel the same way!

WIN IT!
What better way to celebrate Earth Day than to start with a healthy, organic breakfast that helps animals and the planet?
Just in time for Earth Day, Nature’s Path EnviroKidz has launched two new whole grain corn puff children’s cereals, including chocolate flavoured Choco Chimps Cereal, and cinnamon flavoured Jungle Munch Cereal.  Kids love the yum factor and fun animals on the box, and moms love them because they’re certified organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, whole grain, and made without toxic pesticides, artificial flavours and colours.

Because EnviroKidz is a 1% For the Planet member, every time you buy one of their EnviroKidz products, 1% of the sales are donated to support endangered species, habitat conservation and environmental education for kids worldwide.   Specifically, EnviroKidz Choco Chimps Cereal supports The Jane Goodall Institute, global leaders in chimpanzee protection, and EnviroKidz Jungle Munch Cereal supports Fauna & Flora International, acclaimed heroes in Sumatra elephant conservation.
By contributing to The Jane Goodall Institute, we support important projects like Wounda’s Journey, a touching video documenting one special chimpanzee’s story of overcoming  significant adversity and illness. Watch Wounda's emotional, triumphant release: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FEp1h7GKIao&feature=youtu.be.  It is such a beautiful video, you'll need a tissue for tears of happiness.

                                                                 Lets here from you!

We have been eating Nature's Path cereals for a few years now - but haven't tried the varieties you talked about here - so, we will be branching out a bit on our next shopping session.

I've tried Nature's Path cereal before but not the kids ones. I like that they are Non gmo and free from bht. They still have quite a bit of sugar I'm guessing so for our family they would make a great treat or snack rather than a breakfast cereal.

I liked that they're organic and that they're gluten free (so they'd be okay for my roommate's nephew). I don't eat much cereal myself so I might not pick up a box the next time I go shopping, but I would definitely buy some when we're having kids over.

I liked everything about the post because I've never heard of this cereal brand before and it sounds great. I would buy the cereal if I found it in any of my stores.
