Beautycounter~ Now available in Canada! A seriously awesome skincare & makeup line #CleanBeauty #SafeCosmetics

Who and what is Beautycounter?  For one, let me just tell you that this line is fantastic.  No greenwashing and they disclose everything.  They don’t hide their ingredients.  It’s right there for you to click and read and you can find their EWG stats easily.
Their goal is to create and have safe products for you and your family. At Beautycounter they have banned 1,500 ingredients (aka: Their NEVER LIST) while ensuring products are still luxurious and effective.   They screen rigorously, they are constantly learning, they source responsibly and my favourite, they are completely transparent(unlike the “others” when it comes MLM type businesses).

I love their packaging, their website is easy to navigate and I know you’ll love using Beautycounter.  They have a huge following in the US and it’s rather exciting that they are finally in Canada.  You can find your own consultant or you can even become one yourself.  I am thinking about it too!
BeautyCounterFacialOilsI am super excited to find and learn about their make up!  It is so hard to find a good, natural makeup line.  Without possible carcinogens, or endocrine disruptors.  And the kids line!  I love the kids line.
BeautycounterKidsLine

I’ve been working with Beautycounter Consultant, Jillian Kuhl.  She had sent me some products to try and me loving facial oils I wanted to try The Soothing Face Oil.  It’s lovely and effective and extremely gentle and soothing.  I love the ingredients and the hydration it has brought to my skin.  Hydration is key to me as make up will look amazing on a well hydrated face.  You have to exfoliate too.  Anywhere from 1-3 times a week depending on your skin type.  You only need about 4, I do 5 drops of the Soothing Oil and you can apply it before you moisturize or add it to your moisturizer.  THERE ARE NO SYNTHETIC FILLERS.  I love that I am getting pure nourishing oils.  Read your ingredients, friends.  They also don’t use fake fragrances. You will find rather, essential oils which has many benefits for the skin and mind as you inhale and massage any Beautycounter oil into your beautiful face.

The kids line is superb.  Also there is also their new Baby Line.  But the Beautycounter Super Duper Clean Kids Body wash, The Nice Do Kids Shampoo and Not a Knot Kids Conditioner smells amazing and I love using a line that I don’t have to worry about when it comes to ingredients.
BeautyCounterSuperDuper
For example, Nice Do Kids Shampoo contains gentle ingredients derived from coconut oil that both cleanse and condition the hair, instead of surfactants like sodium laureth sulfate (SLES) that may be contaminated with the carcinogen 1,4-dioxane.   Not a Knots Kids is formulated with moisturizing safflower oleosomes and fragrant essential oils, Not a Knot Kids Conditioner is gentle, effective, and safe for little bodies.  Super-Duper Clean Kids Body Wash uses mild cleansing agents and essential oils instead of harsh surfactants such as SLS or SLES and synthetic fragrance (all on Beautycounter’s Never List). Unlike many kids’ bath products, ours does not contain any ingredients that have been linked to health harm.

So what do you think?  Beautycounter just launched in Canada in April so I’d love to hear what you think about what I shared and I hope you’ll do some shopping for yourself.  My consultant, Jillian is an email away if you have questions about becoming a consultant.

This Kids line is phenomenal with how the ingredients aren’t linked to any health harm. It’s beyond nice to see companies like this take a stand against harsh chemicals & make something so gentle, especially for our little ones!
