PrismLand~ educational toys for kids! #PrismPals

Oh PrismLand!  Have you heard about them? Let me tell you about these fantastic educational toys that engage kids with delightful geometric shapes and  books that are wonderful and comes with your shapes.  Granted the twins can’t read yet but their big brother sure can and he loves the shapes and books and even brought it to show his teacher. Educators can get them for the class and I’d love to get one for my sons.   It was a hit.
Educational Play-Quiet Play-Imagination Play is my kind of play for the kids.  Instead of iPads when going out for a family dinner take Prismpals with you.  Turn the TV off and have your kids read/look, learn about shapes and solids and develop a love for math and geometry. It gets my Seal of Approval for the quality, the play and product.  Makes a great gift!

What are PrismPals?
Cubert, Hexter, Pyri, Spherrison and Rhonda. Each PrismPal comes with a character-specific edition of the Hey! Prismland booklet series.  The books are well illustrated, engaging, fun and educational.  I’ll be giving away the full set to one lucky EMB Fan too valued at $139

“Prismland is an educational toy brand intended to encourage young children to take their first steps toward a future filled with passion for math and geometry. Using The PrismPals, our cuddly collection of plush 3D solids, kids of all ages will begin to explore the geometric properties of our three-dimensional world. ”

They are quite cuddly too.  My twins love cuddling with them and even falls asleep with the whole gang.  I’ll even spread our Prism Pals around our home and see if they kind shapes that match our cuddly friends.
SleeplyPrismPalsWhat are the kids learning?

~ recognizing symmetry

~ sorting and classifying two-dimensional shapes and three dimensional figures by attributes

~ describe, sort, classify, and compare three-dimensional figures

~ naming prisms and pyramids

PrismlandBooks

I always bring the books with me and sometimes I leave our PrismPals at home because I want to keep them clean.  Even though my set comes with a carrying bag that I can toss under the stroller. You can’t toss the pals in the washing machine per se but you can spot clean them.  The books are durable, they relieve tantrums in a jiffy(hahaha!) and the illustrations are great.  You can also download printables with your PrismPal purchase.  These are great for homeschoolers, daycares, schools as I mentioned above and of course for us parents.  I’ll print out the downloads and bring it with our books and crayons when going out because we go out a lot. The value of PrismPals comes with so much and priced reasonably with a PrismPal costing $29CDN.

I like that these ‘toys’ are educational, but still oh so cute and cuddly. I think my kids would learn so much from them without even knowing that they are learning.

This is such a neat idea and love that geometry is being introduced in a fun way at such a young age so it isn’t a struggle later. Looks like so much fun too since it is a fun story rather than “book learning”. I love that there is a download section to add more to the experience

I love that they make math, and learning, fun! I struggled with geometry, I think this could even help me! I think early exposure is such a great idea – the concepts would become natural, rather than being a completely strange concept later, and thus further learning would be easier.

What I love about this ,is that , as an early childhood educator, that I can teach a new ‘dimension’ (hehe) of math to the younger hildren in my care – instead of the typical ‘colors and shapes’ this is a new ‘angle’
