Sunscreen for kids- ATTITUDE Little Ones has your kids covered

We’re starting our vacation today so what better time then now to kick it off with this great product from ATTITUDE.  Finding a good, safe sunscreen is hard to find and I’ve used and reviewed a lot.  From reading ingredients at the drug store, to trying them at the beach I have three brands that I love and ATTITUDE Little ones Sunscreen gets 10 stars.

To be honest I don’t always use sunscreen on my kids.  We use hats, light linens and cottons when covering up and hit the shade.   If we are going to be in the water all day and at the beach I’ll put sunscreen on the kids.  The main reason I kinda skip it is because sunscreen blocks Vit D absorption.  When it comes to sunscreen I like seeing what EWG puts out every year.  They list the good and the ugly and you can find the list here.  Besides loving the ingredients, I am really pleased with the quality.  It’s not greasy and it doesn’t go on white and thick.  It’s got great coverage.  Priced at $19.99, online though, you can save up to 25%.

Why do we need safe sunscreen?
EWG examined every product in this year’s Sunscreen Guide with an overall score of 1, and a green rating for ingredient hazards. They’ve selected products  marketed for use on babies and children by including those with the terms “baby,” “kids,” “little,” “children” and “pediatric” in the product or brand name. children.  ATTITUDE made the list of course!  ATTITUDE uses “WORRY FREE INGREDIENTS”.  It comes down to the toxicity in these products.  You can research them yourself, Queen of Green has great info and the ingredients can be found on the EWG site.

There is also other brands listed and baby sunscreens have at least the “bad guys” in them: oxybenzone, retinyl palmitate and SPFs above 50+. Then there’s the aerosol sprays that I personally can’t stand as it can expose young lungs to potentially hazardous chemicals.

That would be great for my nephew and niece. They don’t tan, they get red.

With 2 little ones we go through our fair share of sunscreen. I’m happy to have come across your post because my oldest seems to be having a slight reaction to our current brand and I need to try something different. I’m going to give it a try 🙂 Thank you and good luck all!

My grandson has very sensitive skin, so we definitely need to apply all natural sun screens everyday that he’s out in the sun. I like that this one is soothing and hydrating, thanks very much for this helpful info!
