A nice soup to treat and soothe your tummy. I just made this for dinner tonight to be enjoyed along with some roasted chicken thighs and it was perfect harmony. Now that it’s September I like to start my soup repertoire and I stumbled upon Pear & Parsnip soup that my mom wrote out as I was going through my recipes.
Parsnips are high in fibre, it’s good for the digestive system, it’s got magnesium, folate and may help in reducing blood pressure and aid in weight loss. Pears are high in vitamin C and K, good for the heart too and fibre. Sounds like a healthy bowl of deliciousness.
