Protein Powered Oatmeal Berry Bowl

I am so happy that my kids love oatmeal.  I have been inspired to create oatmeal bowls that are pretty but when the kids see it, they want to gobble it down instead of me taking pictures.

Recently Genuine Health sent me their Chocolate fermented vegan protein powder and it is one of my favourite way to fuel post work out but I also like adding them to recipes and my kids enjoy them too.  So what makes a smoothie bowl great?

Protein-Powered Oatmeal Berry Bowl

Ingredients
  1. 2 Cups rolled oats
  2. 3 Tbsp. chia seeds
  3. 1 Cup blueberries, fresh
  4. 1 Cup raspberries, fresh
  5. 2 Tbsp. honey
  6. 4 Cups Coconut Dream original unsweetened coconut milk or alternative non-dairy milk
  7. 1-2 Scoops fermented Greek yogurt proteins+, Plain & Unsweetened
  8. 1 Tbsp. lemon
Instructions
  1. Put all ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Reduce heat and let simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
  3. Place in a bowl and if desired, add toppings.
  4. Toppings: Hemp hearts, banana's, fresh berries, chia seeds, honey to drizzle.
