Next to ironing one of my cleaning woes is washing the floors. Because of the size of our space, I’d spot clean. I never had the right tools and to think of using a stinky mop, well that’s just out of the question. Living in a building where laundry is in the basement the idea of having to rewash my steam mop just ends up sitting unused. Maybe I am just lazy?! I want something that can vacuum along as I wash the floors because it would save time but does such a thing exist? Can I use something that will clean the floors and suck the spills and messes by my kids? What if I told you there was a better and easier way to clean? It’s called the Bissel Crosswave All in One. It’s a total game changer. I love it for my wood floors, the bathroom floor and kitchen floor. It can get messy in the kitchen this is a life saver for me as I used to spot clean. Now I can just quickly load and vacuum/clean at the same time.
Is it really a gamechanger, Erica?
You see, on hard floors, there is no need to vacuum before using CrossWave™. This machine vacuums and washes at the same time. To dry floors faster, release the trigger and run the machine over the floor without dispensing solution. However, when cleaning area rugs, remove any excess mud from your area rug prior to using your CrossWave™. When cleaning excessively dirty or muddy hard floors, or if the brush roll looks dirty, use the Easy Clean Storage Tray to rinse the brush roll before cleaning your area rugs.
Bissell Tip: For overly challenging and stuck-on messes on hard floors, activate the RUG mode and hold your CrossWave™ over the mess. Using short passes while holding the trigger allows the multi-surface brush to go to work.With the touch of a button, you can seamlessly switch from cleaning hard floors to vacuuming and washing your area rugs. I find so many pros to using this. What I like about it so far:
* Easy to use for everyday cleaning
* Easy to set up and it comes with Bissell cleaning solution
* Not heavy
* Cleans my floors easily & multi-surface usage
* Handy to have
* Easy to clean
* It vacuums and uses clean water with every wash. I love that!
* It dries and washes
*The swivel pivot is handy
* Not that I am aware of. You do need to wash it right after you finish using it because it can get stinky and mouldy from the moisture.
* My carpet is very short material wise. I think I need to go over it more than once to get it to wash good. I found this better for my floors than my rug.
* You may need to use only Bissel cleaning solution. I’d like to try another to see if I get a better clean for my rugs. But it is picking up dirt. Have a look. I know……So how clean are your floors and does your “mop” do this?!
With a Dual-Action Brush Roll and an innovative multi-surface cleaning solution, the CrossWave® from @Bissellclean, cleans better than a sponge mop and bucket, in less time! #review #allinone #bissell #bissellcanada Click To Tweet
With three kids running around the apartment and bringing in the dirt, I am loving that I can easily clean my floors now on a regular basis. I am working on those rugs in the meantime. They were gifted to me from my stepmom and dad and they came used and a little dirty because they have three little Pomeranians but I WILL get these rugs to looking brand new….I hope! Another thing is that the Bissel Crosswave is really convenient. My husband at the last minute invited a co-worker over and his wife. I panicked because now I had to do a better job cleaning our home but also the floors. I wasn’t expecting guests. I grabbed my Bissel Crosswave and did a quick run over the rugs and floors and everything was good and clean and I felt better welcoming guests into our home. This is such a handy unit to have, I hope you get one for yourself. It really does make cleaning that much easier and I love having clean floors for I am no longer “lazy” when it comes to giving them a good wash.
