I know you’ve heard me talk about the Precision Brewer from Breville Canada. It’s offered me a delicious and precise cup of Joe as this is the bee’s knee’s when it comes to coffee machines. I have been thoroughly impressed playing around with the different features and I have found that I’ve enjoyed my coffee on the Gold setting the most. More on that below. This coffee machine is so easy to use and you are going to want one by the time you finish reading about it.
First of all. What is the Precision Brewer?
It comes with 6 unique brewing functions(Gold, My Brew, Strong, Fast, Pour Over & Over Ice/Cold Brew) that delivers fresh, precise flavour to get the best out of your coffee. Make it fast, make it strong, adjust the blooming, heck you can even make cold coffee and pour over ice! It allows you to adjust the brewer to deliver any craft technique with ease, so you can enjoy perfectly balanced coffee, exactly the way you like it. Can your coffee machine do that? It also comes with two filters, one that is reusable and the other for paper liners. You also get a well-rounded coffee spoon for a perfect measure and of course the thermal carafe. Once you register your Precision Brewer you will also get artisanal coffee sent your way!
How precise is the Precision Brewer?
According to the SCA standard parameters for Gold Cup brewing(my preference!), coffee should exhibit a brew strength, measured in Total Dissolved Solids, of 11.5 to 13.5 g/L, corresponding to 1.15% to 1.35% on the SCAA Brewing Control Chart, resulting from a soluble extraction yield of 18% to 22%. In simple terms, the Breville Precision Brewer™ passed with flying colours
Different coffees taste best when brewed at different temperatures. Too hot and the coffee will taste ashy. Too cold and the coffee will taste grassy and undeveloped. You can adjust brew water temperature at ± 2°F steps to get the best possible taste from your favourite coffee.
So with the holidays, I want you to offer you a Precision Brewer as well! Breville Canada is going to give one lucky winner a Precision Brewer of their very own! Can I get a “Woot! Woot!” This giveaway is open to Canada only, excl. Quebec and ends Dec.12/17. Good luck and don’t forget to subscribe to Mama Ash!
