My favourite tips to soothe a sore tummy for the whole family #orangenaturals

Having a sore stomach is no fun at all.  Whether it’s you or the kids I hope you’ll find some of my tips helpful for when you get a nasty bug or be it from food poisoning.  From essential oils to herbs and compresses these tricks have helped my family.

For adults, I love Oregano oil.  I place a couple of drops in water and drink and let the magic of oregano oil do its thing.  Orange Naturals makes a lovely Oregano Oil that I find the most bearable to take.  For my kids, I’ll rub into the soles of their feet and along the spine on either side, sweeping upwards.  Make sure you wash your hands right after.

Bergamot Oil or Sweet Orange.   I diffuse my citrus oils and even place a drop or two on the palm of my hand and take a few deep breaths.  For my kids, I place a drop on a tissue for them to inhale as I rub their bellies with a Sweet Almond Oil blend with Chamomile.
Citrus oils are great for calming for a sore tummy, Peppermint too!   But I prefer citrus oil as it’s also comforting but your body will sense which one is best for you.

I love homeopathy as I see the results.  Some must-haves to have in your medicine cabinet are Digestion for Kids I also recommend the Digestion Tincture for adults too.

  • Relieves pain related to gas and bloating
  • Safe and effective relief from digestive upsets
  • Soothes tummy aches and cramps
  • Relieves nausea and vomiting

Have you ever thought to take Digestive Enzymes?  This is another great supplement to take. These food munching enzymes help you to break down starches, proteins and fats so that digestion becomes more comfortable and enhance nutrient absorption.
ON_PlantEnzymesAnother thing I do is make chicken soup.  A nice clear broth to sip on is extremely nourishing. If you have a pressure cooker you can have fresh bone broth in just under an hour.  Or pull out the stock pot and make it on the stove.

I remember my mom giving me a nice warm compress to place on my tummy too.  Heat it up, put your feet up and relax. I also remember drinking flat ginger ale and/or chamomile tea.  Or just sip on warm water with fresh lemon, ginger and honey.  And don’t forget to take your probiotics. Kids too!  I hope you like the tips that I use for my family and if you’re new to Orange Naturals, I hope you’ll pick up their homeopathy products and give it try.  I’m off to get some Digestive Enzymes.

Thanks for this! My kids were sick with a tummy bug and I’ve never thought to get homeopathy. It works?
