Ooo, la, la! What a treat. You should have seen my kids when I pulled these out of the oven. I had fresh pastured eggs to use up, I thought it was time to make these beautiful chocolate swirls thanks to my go-to blogger for all things French, Manger. Mimi Thorissons cookbooks are one of my favourites from my French cookbook collections. A Kitchen in France is such a delight as well as French Country Cooking. If you love French cooking as much as I do, you have to add these cookbooks to your collection (I’ve attached affiliate links to the cookbooks)
about to go into the oven! yum!
These are so easy to make. Fluffy, sweet goodness! Get your mixer out add your egg whites ( I saved the yolks to make a custard dessert for later), you have set the timer as you need to whisk on high for about 10-15 minutes, add sugar( 1 2/3 cup) and cornstarch I had Soma cocoa to use(use the best if you can) as you fold them in. You need to bake them for 1hr 15 min and add a dollop of fresh whipped cream and chocolate sauce.
Head over to Manger to get her recipe and enjoy! Feel free to comment below if you have any questions. Bon Appétit!
