Ah, homemade popcorn!  I have very fond memories of the early 80’s with my sister in our kitchen making popcorn.  Grabbing those little wooden bowls, getting lots and lots of butter and grabbing the freshly popped corn and enjoying endless bowls as we watched CBC music videos.  I was thinking about getting a popcorn maker so I jumped at the chance to collab with Cuisinart and try the EasyPop Hot Air Popcorn Maker.

Popcorn is such a great treat, don’t you think?  Do you ever season it up?  I’ve found since getting this we are eating more popcorn obviously but it’s a pretty cheap snack.  I do want to find some artisanal organic kernels as I really like that I am left with very little at the end.  I found that it popped 98% of the kernels and melted butter container on the lid, melts fine, little at a time. I did find the handle a little too hot when lifting out to pour over the freshly popped corn.  

But It’s kid approved! Now to explore some seasoning recipes with popcorn and we’ll always have a bowl of popcorn made when welcoming guests this holiday season so if you have awesome popcorn recipes, please send me recipes in the comment section of this post!
