Head to the ROM for the Holidays!

As the Holidays are quickly coming out, the kids will be home soon for Winter Break and you may be wondering what to do with the kids.  Well, the ROM has some great things going on this year that I want to know about!  Also, for those in the GTA, I will be giving away a Family Membership.  Don’t forget to check out the Holiday Camps going on!  We love the ROM and are so excited to work with them.

Come celebrate the holidays in Toronto with The Royal Ontario Museum! The ROM comes alive for the season with lots of family-friendly things to do for kids of all ages with a CHIHULY-inspired ROM for the Holidays taking place from Monday, December 26, 2016, to Sunday, January 8, 2017. ROM visitors will be swept up into a winter wonderland, showcasing glowing lights, festive traditions, exclusive gallery activations, with highlights including a last chance to visit the spectacular CHIHULY exhibition, Wildlife Photographer of the Year and much more! ROM for the Holidays features extended hours of operation and programming.

Most drop-in activities are offered from Monday, December 26 to Sunday, January 8, from 10:30 am until 30 minutes before the Museum closes. Some activities take place at specific times only – see below. Drop-in activities are free with Museum admission.

What are some of the drop-ins:

  • Don’t miss Sonshine and Broccoli: bring your kids, bring yourselves, and enjoy their interactive and fun-filled musical shows!
    Dec 26-30, Jan 1-8: 30-minute performances at 11:30 am and 2:30 pm
  • Digital spray painting on enormous colouring pages: Pick your favourite winter image, then use cutting-edge technology from MakeLab to add colour and make it your own.
    Offered during all activity hours
  • Animal Faces: Choose your colours and creatures, and be transformed by our amazing artists from Creative Twist. Will you opt to stand out, or go stealthy with camouflage?
    Daily, 10:30 am-2:30 pm

    Chihuly looks beautiful. Ive never been to the ROM, so I dont know how everything is in real life.. but also the wildlife photography catches my eye. I love animals.

    The kids LOVE Dinosaurs so naturally this is our families favourite exhibit. There is so much excitement and energy from the kids when we enter this exhibit. It’s always a favourite and a highlight for my Husband and I. Thanks for the chance to win.

    Would love to see the Chihuly exhibit, saw his exhibit when it was in Jerusalem around 15 years ago, it’s awesome!
