Highlights Holiday Gift Guide {Giveaway}

HolidayCatalog2015_webcover

Do you remember Highlights?  We had a subscription growing up and I loved it as a child.  I loved the puzzles, the stories, the pictures and the Hide & Seek games.  It was the best and  seeing that Highlights is STILL around has me all nostalgic, warm & fuzzy and I can now share it with my kids.

We have a great giveaway coming up too.  We got lots of great activities and books to review.  When I was a kid it was just the magazines so it’s great to see how the brand itself has grown.   Besides gifting a Subscription which gives you three to choose from based on age which I highly recommend because kids love receiving mail check out my top picks to gift this Holiday/Christmas Season.

Farm Friends and Nursery rhymes is a hit with all three of my kids as my son loves to read to his sisters.  We’re kicking the tablets to the side for my son when we go out and bring all our Highlights books so he can learn old school.   This is helping him stay focused on learning when at school too.

Joke Book Set of 4: As you may recall in my previous post my son is also quite the jokester and loves making people laugh.  If you have a jokester in your family this is a great gift set.
A1074_2_29Hidden Picture Set with Stickers:  I love this, lol.  I love the sense of looking and love the reward of finding.  This is great to do with the kids.  This special collection gives them plenty of both. There are 120 hidden object stickers to place. Kids build manual dexterity and visual skills while they play.

    I think this is a great magazine for children, and it can be fun. Highlights are new thing on the market, which I didn’t have when I was young.
