With Love from Nature- Moor Spa

A natural, Canadian, therapeutic skincare that is spa quality.  They know a thing or two about skincare as they’ve been around for over 20 years. You’re going to love learning about Moor Spa and their products- it’s been such an honour to work with CertClean and Moor Spa today.  I was sent three products to test and share my opinion as I always do. I have their Nourishing Facial Oil, Enzyme Kelp Mask and their Hydrating Serum.  Moor Spa products are free of synthetic preservatives, parabens, sulphates, artificial colours, synthetic fragrances and petroleum-derived chemicals, such as PEG, propylene glycol or mineral oil. Every ingredient is 100% naturally-sourced and that’s a guarantee.

Every Moor Spa product contains the unique Moor essence. This consists of a wide array of organic substances and minerals such as humic acid, fulvic acid, antioxidants, proteins and mineral salts that enhance the skin’s overall health.

MoorSpaMask_MamaAshCAI love a good, therapeutic Kelzyme mask and my skin loves kelp and sea-based ingredients.  This mask gives me what my skin needs!  What’s that you ask?  Well for starters it has helped to improve my skin tone.  I’ve been using this consistently 3 x/week for 5 weeks and my skin is smooth and their other products are absorbing into my epidermal layer.   This mask contains enzymes and minerals to give you that glow as it helps to exfoliates improve tone, cleansing and tightening.  Leave on for 10-15 minutes and your mini facial is complete! Macrocystis Pyrifera which is also known as Kelzyme is rich in iodine, potassium and other minerals and learning that I think I now know why my skin absorbs and loves sea-based skincare so much.  My thyroid!  But that’s a whole other story. It’s a beautiful mask that I hope you’ll check out.

The Moor Hydrating Serum.  It does everything that I need for my skin.  My concerns are dryness, redness, sun damage and some sensitivity that my skin is still dealing with after a terrible microdermabrasion treatment from years ago.   However, my skin and me-didn’t love it.  I think this will be better serum in the summer as in the winter, my skin felt uncomfortable and tight when I applied it.  I just didn’t like it.   This serum is meant to nourish and quench my skin’s thirst as it has hyaluronic acid in it, Vitamin C which I love and phytoplankton and ectoin.   But the dry winter air here in Winnipeg just didn’t work so I am going to give this a try in the summer when my skin gets a little oilier. I love the ingredients as there’s some lactic acid to really improve my skin’s tone and treat the sun damage.   I’ll follow up on this post and let you know how it works for me.  Application is easy enough to massage after cleansing and don’t forget the neck area.  Follow up with your moisturizer. It may not work for me at the moment but if you have this at your local spa, do check it out and see if it’s right for you.  The ingredients are fantastic.
MoorSpa_NourishingOil_MamaAshCA
Ooooooo….this Nourishing Facial Oil that I LOVE!  It is made with exquisite rosehip oils(very high in Vit.C), argan oil(love!) and kukui. What is kukui? It comes from the candlenut tree.   This is one of my favourite facial oils as it really nourishes my skin, I really love this serum a lot as it hydrates, nourishes, it smells divine and it is therapeutic in really going deeper in your skin as it’s an oil and I find they go deeper into the epidermal layer which absorbs, protects and nourishes your skin. It is rich in revitalizing nutrients including fatty acids, minerals, vitamins and antioxidants. The subtle fragrance of rose otto essential oil is uplifting and just simple put- lovely.

I think I know this brand! I wonder if they were at the Banff spa at the Fairmont like, 17 years ago?
