There’s lots of conflicting information out there about antiperspirants and cancer and thank goodness companies like LoveFresh are offering us a better alternative. Some say it may cause and some say it doesn’t. I’ll list some information below and you can decide if it sounds and feels right to you and if you want to continue with such ingredients. But there are also alternative deodorants out there that are gentler on you and the planet and they work just as well.
Do you know what are the top 5 potentially toxic ingredients are in your antiperspirant? Well, let me share with you what some of them are. There are still a few others to learn about like BHT, DEA & TEA, Artificial colours and fragrances which are lurking there too.
I personally don’t care for the above ingredients. I don’t want them near my mammary glands or my lymph nodes so I have searched high and low for a great alternative. I love LoveFresh! It’s baking soda free which is great because I find over time with baking soda deodorants I can get sensitive over time and I don’t want red, itchy armpits. I love natural deodorant. We need to purge our toxins and perspiration is where it’s at plus it’s to cool us down. You don’t want to keep toxins do you by using antiperspirants?
Whats in LoveFresh Deodorants?
Shea Butter Coconut Oil, Arrowroot Flour, Magnesium, Kaolin Blay, Emulsifying Wax NF, Mandarin and Lime essential oils. These simple ingredients are ones that I like.
Does it work???
It does! It’s my second choice for natural deodorants as I found towards the end of the day I would need a refresher. I massage it into my skin once I roll it on as it’s a little thick. The scent is amazing and it is good, I give it a 8/10 for effectiveness.
Price.
$24, handmade in Canada.

I’m going to have to look into this. It’s so hard to find a natural deodorant that actually works well.

It would be cool to try out a natural deodorant like this out. I definitely don’t want to expose myself dangerous chemicals.

This sounds like such a neat product. I am not interested in making my own natural deodorant, but buying it is a whole other story. Sounds perfect for sensitive underarm skin.

I like the idea of a natural option! I figure it can’t hurt any to forgo chemicals whenever possible right?

Finding a natural deodorant that will really work for me is hard. I sweat a lot (for no reason) and I need super protection. I will have to give LoveFresh a try to see if it will help me.

I would be interested in trying this. I always thought natural deodorants didn’t really work.

I have not tried a natural deodorant before as I feared they would not work. Not going to lie, I can get stinky. With the mandarin and lime oils, it seems like this would smell really good. Maybe I’ll give it a try.

Totally looking into this. Like some of the commenters before me, it’s hard to find a good deoderant that I don’t feel will harm me all in one. TY for the heads up on this.

It’s pretty pricey but having all the bad stuff taken out totally makes up for it. I would prefer not to have those things in products I use either.
