I love entertaining. Do you host more or tend to go out more? With the Holidays quickly approaching you might be inclined to try a signature cocktail to welcome guests as they nibble on appetizers. Have you ever thought to use wild blueberry juice to give your cocktail a “je ne c’est quoi?” for a fresh taste of wild blueberries? One of my favourite gins to go with this cocktail recipe because it is also purple in colour is the Empress 1908 Gin and made with 8 organic botanicals. Check out the recipe below, it’s delicious!
Tangled in Blue Gin Smash

Ingredients for 1 cocktail:
1.5 oz (45 ml) gin ( I love Empress 1908 Gin)
.5 oz (15 ml) Saint Germain (Elderflower Liqueur)
.75 oz (22.5 ml) Yuzu juice
.5 oz (15 ml) Van Dyk’s Wild Blueberry Juice*
Frozen wild blueberries for garnish
1. Shake with ice, strain into a Collins glass over ice. Top
2. Garnish with frozen wild blueberries and a yuzu leaf.
