This dates stuffed with cheese is oooey gooey awesomeness that will be a hit this season and you know, for when we can actually entertain and have friends and family over. 18 pitted Medjool dates or other
3 oz. firm cheese such as Parmesan, Manchego or Pecorino
6 slices of bacon, cut in thirds
1 cup brewed Van Houtte Superiore Espresso Recyclable K-Cups Pods
Directions:
Preheat oven at 450F
Soak dates in coffee for 30 minutes
In the meantime, cut the cheese in small sticks 1/4′ thick and 1″ long
Stuff dates with cheese sticks and wrap the bacon around the dates, skewer each with a toothpick.
Place dates on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
Bake for 10-15 minutes
Place dates on paper towel and serve hot.
